You know you would

benefit from feeling stronger but just don’t know where to start?

Getting decision fatigue from the endless list of exercises available to you is common and it's daunting and confusing to figure out all the pieces of equipment that many exercise routines suggest that you use.

If you’re like most people you will have tried some form of online exercise program before but found that some of the exercises are too difficult or exacerbate a pain that you already have. You may have used a personal trainer but weren’t able to afford to see them on an ongoing basis.

Does a lack of strength mean that everyday life is starting to feel harder than it used to?

Whilst loving the time you have with your grandchildren, you might have noticed that you can’t play with them as energetically as you (or they) would like. If so you’ll also have started to dread how you might feel the next day.

The activities that you once looked forward to have started to feel paralysing. Not being able to do the things you love can feel like you are losing some of your independence.

Introducing

Stronger for Life

...an online course that guides you through a step by step process to create a muscle strengthening program that you can actually do, that makes the gym less daunting, and will allow you to continue to look forward to an active future.

This course is for older adults who know that they would benefit from building muscle strength and who are new to strength and resistance training.

After completing this course you will:

  • Have created a strength training program that is built around your ability levels and any existing conditions/injuries that you might have.
  • Be able to confidently step into a gym (or at home with some affordable equipment) and know what exercises to perform and how to use the equipment that you need.
  • Know how to adapt exercises around any limitations or injuries that you currently have (or around any future injuries/conditions that you might experience).
  • Know that you have started to take positive steps to a healthier and more active future.

As a physiotherapist, I share my knowledge of adapting exercises around injuries and conditions that would normally put people off starting.

Rather than simply giving you a list of exercises to follow that you may or may not be able to actually do, I aim to give you all the knowledge you need to build a program for yourself that actually works for you and your goals.

You will work through the content of the course in your own time. Once you have created your program you will perform each workout on your own and at a pace that you are comfortable with.

If you choose the appropriate package, you will be able to join a group Q&A session with me each week to ask any questions that you have and to share your progress. I want make sure that you don't get stuck and feel like you can't continue. If you can't make a call then you can send questions in advance and the call recording will be emailed out to you.

You can also reach out to the other students and alumni in our private Facebook group to ask questions as you progress. I will also be in the group to provide support.

Less pain, better sleep and a faster serve!

These are just some of the benefits that the 5 founding members of the Stronger for Life online course have noticed. They share what they think of the course as well and the improvement that adding strength training into their weekly routine has made to their life.
